    How does each member contribute to his or her family?

    Patterns of family have diversified considerably. Nowadays we have:

    Definitions:
    Nuclear family: the mother, father, sisters, and brothers.
    Extended family: the family members of a nuclear and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and in-laws.

    Whichever kind of family it can be,
    there are advantages and disadvantages.

    Study:
    Whenever you disagree with someone, even they are those you know well, be sure to do that POLITELY, and give the REASONS.

    Practice:
    Work in groups of three. With your partners, choose one of the statement below and use the aforementioned expressions to discuss it :
