    1. CONDITIONAL SENTENCE TYPE 1. (Real condition)
    1.1. Form.
    If + S + Vs(es), S + will/shall + V.
    1.2. Usage.
    1.2.1. Future possible.
    E.g. If it rains tomorrow, I will/shall not go to school. (will not = won’t)
    E.g. If I have money, I will/shall buy a new car.
    1.2.2. Habitual.
    E.g. Ann usually walks to school if she has enough time.
    1.2.3. Command.
    E.g. If you go to the post office, please mail this letter for me.
    II. GRAMMAR
    If I had money, I would purchase a new suit.
    2. CONDITIONAL SENTENCE TYPE 2. (Present unreal condition)
    1.1. Form.
    If + S + Ved, S + would/should/could + V.
    E.g. If She didn’t speak so quickly, I could understand her.
    E.g. If I had time, I would go to the beach with you this weekend.
    1.1. Using ‘were’ for every person.
    E.g. She would tell you about is if she were here.
    E.g. If today were Saturday, I could go to the beach.
    E.g. If I were a cloud, I would be a warm cloud.
    If I were a bird, I would be a pigeon.
    If I were a flower, I would be a sun flower.
    If I were a cloud, I would be a warm cloud.
    If I were a person, I would die for my country.

    If I hadn’t been haughty, he would not have followed another girl.
    3. CONDITIONAL SENTENCE TYPE 3. (unreal past condition)
    1.1. Form.
    If + S + had + Ved, S + would/should/could have + Ved.
     Note:
    - Inversion in type 2 and type 3.
    E.g. If hadn’t lost my way, I would have arrived sooner.
    E.g. Peter would have sold his house if he had found the right buyer.
    E.g. If he were sick, he would stay at home today.
     Were he sick, he would stay at home today.
    E.g. If I had known that you were there, I would have written to you.
     had I known that you were there, I would have written to you.
    - Unless = If not
    E.g. If I hadn’t been in a hurry, I wouldn’t have spilled the milk.
    (Unless I had been in a hurry,)
