I - OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to
+ read to get general information and specific information from the text.
+ can draw a chart to summarize the text.

II - METHOD: Mainly communicative to draw the attention of students..

1. Warm-up:
- Ask students to look at the pictures on page 14 in the text book and asking some questions :
+"What can you see in the pictures?"
+"How many people are there in the first pictures?"
+"And how about the second?"
+ The people in the first picture are learning in group/team. The person in the second is learning alone. So which way of learning do you prefer? Give the reason.
+ Today we will learn about "Team learning".
2. Pre-reading:
- Elicit some vocabularies
+ research ( n , v ) nghiên cứu , cuộc nghiên cứu

3. While-reading
Task a The following statements can be true ( T ) , false ( F ), or not mentioned in the text ( NI ) . Check ( - Ask Ss to work in groups of four to find out the answers to task 1 after reading the reading text silently.
- Asking students to work in pairs to find the answers to task a on page 16.
- Ask Ss to run through the statements to understand them and pay attention to key words.
-Have students read the passage more carefully and decide whether the statements are true , false, or NI
-Ask Ss:1. Why is it true or false?
2. Can you give me the information in the passage?
- Give feedback



Task b Answer the following questions
- Ask Ss to run through the questions to understand them and underline the key words
- Let Ss read the passage again and answer the questions
- Ask Ss to do the task in pairs to answer the questions.
-Tell Ss to compare their answers with other pairs .Let them discuss and correct one another.
-Walk around the class and offer ideas and comments when students need help.













- Asking them to practise in close pairs and then open pairs to see if there is any difference among their answers.
- Correcting if possible.
4. Post-reading:
Task c Summary Mapping . Read the text again. Then complete the map below
- Asking students to work in groups of four or six to complete the map on page 17.
- Asking some representatives to go to the board to write out the answers.








5. Homework:
- Asking students to write about activities, strategies and effects of a good learning team.
